    I was booking a flight from Washington DC to Italy in cheapoair. When I found an available flight and proceeded to book it, it appeared a message saying that the price has changed, becoming more expensive. At the same moment my phone rang (a number from NYC ). The individual on the line identified himself as an amployee from Cheapoair, trying to make me buy a flight from him. I did not entered my phone number on this occasion.   • Refused to compensate me on canceled flights



    I booked a round trip flight for my boyfriend and I to florida in February. It was going to be a family vacation. My father fell ill shortly after. Unsure if i would be able to make the trip i purchased insurance through cheapoair from the company travelex. I was supposed to leave for florida on march 23 called the night before to cancel because my fathers condition was worsening.   • Another ridiculous fee charge



    I booked return flights, Dublin to Sydney. I want to change my return travel date. The airline validity on changing is up to a year but Cheapoair is saying I only have six months. I have tried twice today, once on the phone and through their ' live help' to get an answer as to where in my original booking documentation, it says validity of six months, the only thing I can find is it refers back to airline, which again, having rung the airlin myself, is 12 months.     I've started visiting Cheapoair first to find good airfare. I get tired of paying the fees especially since we also end up paying for bags, etc. I also get frustrated when I buy a ticket and see a few days later that its less.     I bought a ticket for my boss 2 weeks ago trough them. He's supposed to leave in 2 days and this morning CheapOair.ca cancelled the tictet, because... they don't have an agreement with that airline. What a mess!     I purchased two tickets from San Francico to San Juan back in Aug. I was told that flight time has changed by the airline. Due to this flight change, there will not be enough time to make it to the connection flight. I have call them several times, but nothing was resolve. I had to cancelled the flight. They refused to refune the entire tickets. only willing to refund for the first part eventhough second part will not work since the first part has been change.     I have been searching for days for an international ticket and CheapOAir twice quoted a price nearly $200 under what any travel agency had quoted me. I pretty was sold on buying, but I just had that creeping feeling that I could do better. Sure enough, after visiting a couple of the airlines that service my destination, I found the exact same itinerary for $275 CHEAPER than CheapOAir was quoting.     I was assured by a cheapoair representative that I would only be penalized $448 dollars when I needed to change my itinerary,however they are now telling me that the total amount of $1914.82 is non refundable.They tell me that my e-mail tells me this but the e-mail does not arrive until they have already taken credit card info. Just wanted to share that CheapOair customer service reps,Dinesh in the flight change department, and Jasmine in the flight booking department, both made sure that I had a great and professional experience. The airline that I booked to return home cancelled all flights on the day I needed to get home and Dinesh called them and confirmed that they could not accomodate me, helped facilitate my return flight refund, and directed me to Jasmine to rebook the return flight. It all happened in about 30mins. They were both courteous and professional and a breath of fresh air amongst, I'm certain, others who may lack personal skill that work there. My point: not every customer service rep is bad. There are good ones and they deserve just as much recognition, if not more, than the bad ones.
